Attention Greenville. Your county council just passed a massive property tax increase! Do you have any idea why? Not for better roads or schools or Police protection. No, No, No... It's for "Workforce Housing."

Millions have crossed our southern border illegally. New York, California and others are running out of room. Do you know what happened when they rolled out the red carpet to a low income, unskilled "workforce?"

And on it goes...

The commitments county council is making are for 20 Years! That's over a Quarter of a BILLION Dollars of your taxes up in smoke. Is that what you want? If not, Sign The Petition. Then ask your friends and neighbors to do the same.

Petition to Repeal the Greenville County Property Tax Increase

I believe county taxes should only be used to provide essential services that residents are unable to provide for themselves.

I oppose government at any level that exceeds the scope of its intended purpose.

I stand for honesty and transparency in government where citizens are made aware of all aspects of government operation.

I oppose Greenville County's permanent and needless property tax increase that will be used to provide:

  • Government Subsidized Housing for illegal aliens, and
  • Buses to shuttle those who are not eligible for a drivers license.

I reject government subsidies of any kind. Subsidies punish citizens for their hard work and success.

I CALL ON THE GREENVILLE COUNTY COUNCIL TO:

  • Permanently cease all activities related to Affordable Housing and increased transit.
  • Immediately repeal the recently passed annual budgets that include the tax increase.
  • Review the 2023 budget and identify wasteful and unnecessary spending.
  • Pass a new budget without a tax increase for 2024 based on the improved 2023 model and use the money saved from wasteful spending on road improvements.
